One story, four levels.
Every story exists at A1, A2, B1 and B2 — same plot, same characters, same facts, richer language each step up. Start where it's comfortable and climb.
Pick a story
Five categories, five languages. This month's good news, a folk tale, a health habit, a line from a classic, a recipe.

Tap what you don't know
A translation, a note on the grammar, the sentence it came from, and where else that word appears in the library.

Climb the ladder
Read the same story one level up. When it's easy, the next one. The words you save come back for gentle practice.

Built for reading, not for streak-chasing.
Everything in Journeva serves the story you're reading. No games, no ads, no accounts.
Real stories, hand-written
Verified facts, retold classics and original tales — written by a person, not generated.
Tap-to-understand
Every word in every story is in the glossary. Nothing to look up elsewhere.
Listen along
Any story read aloud, with the words lighting up as they're spoken, at your speed.
Practice that remembers
Saved words come back on a spaced schedule, with the sentence you found them in.
New every week
Fresh stories, including this month's good news, appear in the app on their own — no update to install.

Questions
Which level should I start at?
The one where you understand most of a story without effort. A2–B1 suits most people who've had some school lessons. You can change it anytime, and switch inside any story.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Your progress stays on your device.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything already on your device works without a connection; new stories arrive when you're back online.
